The Secret to a Sparklingly Clean Car

I got really good at washing cars by washing any and every car I was given a chance to wash. I learned that you should never wash your car in direct sunlight because it’s harder to rinse and dry without getting water spots on it. I learned to use products like tire shine, spray wax, and windex to make the car even look better. You always want to make your car look shiny and people will keep coming back.

Steps to Cleaning Your Car:

  1. To start wet the car to take off the dirt on top.
  2. Mix soap and water in a bucket and make sure to get suds because it’s better that way.
  3. Grab your sponge and go in short lines, forward and back.  Never make circles because it creates swirls in the paint it and makes the car look bad.
  4. After you wash the whole car with soap, get another sponge/mitt for the rims. Never use the same sponge for both.
  5. When you finish the rims/tires, rinse off the soap on the whole car.
  6. Now begin to dry the car off.
  7. When you are finished, apply the wax onto the car and use a microfiber towel to buff and dry it.
  8. Use windex on the windows both inside and out.
  9. Lastly, apply tire shine, which is the most important step, and you car will look the most shiny it has ever been.
