Corrado and Tina LaRosa Virtual Tribute Wall
Corrado and Tina LaRosa were truly loved by all who knew them. Dedicated parents, grandparents, and community members, the couple touched the lives of everyone they met.
Corrado will be remembered for his faithful service to his community as the Director of Physical Plant and Custodial Services for Haledon HPS and Manchester Regional High School. He was a committed husband and father of three children. He had a passion for soccer, the Giants, and his oversized dogs, Sam and Veto.
Tina, his wife of 30 years, was a beacon of hope for her children, neighbors, family, and friends. She faced challenges head on and made a beautiful life for those around her. Like any good Jersey Gal, she loved the beach and Bon Jovi.
Theirs is truly a story of love and commitment to one another, their family, and their neighborhood. Together, they rose against all odds, became pillars in their community, and gave themselves in the service to others.
On behalf of everyone at Manchester Regional High School, the staff of the Falcon Flyer, the school’s online newspaper, would like to invite you to use the comment function below to share a tribute to Corrado and Tina LaRosa.
Whether it is just a “You Will Be Missed” or a short story about your experience with the couple or even a picture that expresses how you’re feeling, your efforts and words will surely be appreciated.
Every approved “Tribute” will then be listed on the Falcon Flyer site until Monday, November 9th to create a Virtual Tribute Wall for all to see.
*Note, some of the above information has been borrowed from the DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home’s Obituary. We thank them for their contribution.

Corrado was always looking out for me and my sister at both HPS and MRHS. He was such a staple to see at school and never failed to share a smile. He will be so incredibly missed for all he has done not just for the school but for me as an individual.

Every morning while I sat in the Start Office, Corrado never failed to walk by and greet everyone with a big “Good morning!” I could always tell how much he loved his job. I’ll never forget how much of a help he was as I prepared for the Homecoming Bonfire two years ago. Anything I needed, Corrado was there to help. Wishing peace and love to the LaRosa family during this very difficult time.

I always liked the big greeting!
During my tenure as coach Corrado always asked what the team needed from him or his staff and
he got it done.
I always liked his work ethic and his friendly manner. I shall miss him. I am sorry for the loss his family has suffered.

Your daily visits will be missed. I keep expecting you to come through the BOE door to greet us with your jokes and busting nature. You ALWAYS took care of our office. You cared about us personally and professionally. My heart is broken. I will miss our side chats about Italy and Italian food. You were one of a kind and I will never forget you! Rest in peace my dear friend.

I have known Corrado and Tina for the majority of my life. They were a huge soccer family and I spent many weekends at Haledon PAL playing, with them on the sidelines coaching or reffing. They were a huge part of the rec program and the community around them. Coming to work at Manchester, Corrado fell among the friendly faces I would come to see every day. There wasn’t a single day that he didn’t walk past me and ask how I was doing and if I needed anything. He made sure to always look out for me, as a kid, and as an adult. My condolences to their family, may you find peace knowing all the love and support Tina and Corrado gave to everyone around them for so many years. Tina and Corrado, you will both be missed!!!

I’ll miss that sly smile on his face when he came into the office with a funny comment to make. He was a one of a kind and he made sure that the custodians were paid correctly and on time as he truly respected and appreciated all they did. He’ll be missed.

Corrado was someone who always had time for people. Time to hear their needs. Time to help them with their problems. Time to just talk. In this hectic world we find ourselves in everyday, Corrado was always a reminder to take a breath and enjoy the company of others. That simple gift, among many, cannot be overstated. We will miss you, sir. Peace be with you and Tina.
