Zendaya is a young black woman who is EXTREMELY successful. First, we got to talk about how she became so well known. She first became known in 2010 on the show Shake it Up. Now she’s a very well-known actor amongst all people and is in shows and movies like Spider-Man as MJ and Euphoria as Rue Bennett.

Before Disney, she was a Kidz bop kid and a backup dancer for Selena Gomez in a Sears commercial. She also says that, “She never really understood acting, but was obsessed with it.” Her inspiration to start acting came from her mother and Oprah because she says that, “She’s obsessed with Oprah who makes everyone feel like their “auntie” and that she could do anything with the platform she Had.”

Zendaya is also a singer. She released her first self titled album in 2013 that was called “Zendaya” and had a hit single called Replay. The same year she released her album he competed on dancing with the stars. Then, she released a book called “Between U and Me: How to Rock Your Tween Years With Style and Confidence”. This book as in the name Helped young girls go through their tween years in style. Then, in 2015 she starred and produced the Disney Show “K.C. Undercover”, where she starred as K.C. Cooper. In 2016, she announced that she was going to be the new face for Covergirl and that same year, she released a clothing line called Daya by Zendaya.

In 2017 she starred in Spider-Man Homecoming as MJ and The Greatest Showman as Anne Wheeler. A year later she became an ambassador for Lancome.

This just shows that anything is possible. No matter what you just have to believe. Zendaya is an overall great actor and singer, starring in big movies and shows. On top of that winning an Emmy at 24 years old, making history for being the youngest Emmy winner.
