With a fantastic MRHS cast and crew, the theater department is performing the musical, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, in Spring of 2022. You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a musical comedy based on the Peanuts comic strip and written by Clark Gesner. The musical didn’t become genuinely successful until it was staged at the John Golden Theater on Broadway on June 1, 1971. It did, ultimately, close after only 47 shows.

Starring Sophia Kirwan as Charlie Brown, Victoria Melse as Lucy Van Pelt, Tianna Braxton as Linus Van Pelt, Nasif Parson as Schroeder and with Kimorah Canady playing as Sally Brown. 

As a freshman, Kimorah Canady is playing Charlie Brown’s younger sister and making her acting debut.”I auditioned to prove that I’m not only on the sidelines as a background character and because I think it will benefit my future,” Kimorah Canady stated on the day casting was announced.
