Thank you doctor and nurse – COVID-19 pandemic concept series

To All the World’s Surgeons,

Thank you! I am truly thankful for surgeons around the world. If you really think about it, there is a population of 331.9 million people in the US, but only 28,682 of them are surgeons. I know many of you, here in the US, care for your patients by getting to know them before a procedure is done and after so that they trust you. I also know that you guys go through almost 13 years of medical school just to become a surgeon which is a lot of school and a huge sacrifice.

Thank you for working 50-60 hours a week just to be there when you’re needed. It takes a lot of patience and courage to do what you guys do. You guys legit have someone else’s life to worry about during every single surgery. Even though your average salary is at least $360k you deserve every penny because of your dedication to saving lives.

You guys are the people that we should be thanking and learn more about since you guys are real-life heroes. This note is to show my appreciation for you wonderful people.

Sincerely,

Andrika Culliton
