Summer is coming around like it always does and schools are going to let out soon. For many teens this means you’re going to be in the house for two months and be limited to what you can do for this warm summer. So obviously it  can be helpful to get suggestions so you can stay booked and busy this hot girl summer.

Of course we’ll be trying to keep things local and not far out of New Jersey. One of the things you can do this summer is go to six flags. Six flags has a seasonal pass that makes parking/entering cheaper and lowers the price on a couple of other things. When most think of six flags they most likely only think of roller coaster rides. If you don’t really like rides they also have a drive through safari where you view different species from around the world.

You may have heard of Brownstone pancake factory on social media such as TikTok or Instagram. Brownstone as the name suggests is a pancake factory! They serve much more than just pancakes of course. Their menu ranges from the “Strawberry shortcake pop tart shake” to their “ fried Oreo cheesecake pancakes”. You can tell by the name of a couple of the things on their menu that this restaurant is no IHOP. The food they serve is what I would call a high class sugar rush. The reason why I recommend this place is because of the way they present their food. Not only does the food look amazing but you also have a chance to get a viral post with it. Brown stone is located in Edgewater so check it out this summer if you want outstanding looking food and an Instagram post.

Now this one is a little out of the way. The Hayden Planetarium is located in central park and is a natural history museum that covers almost anything. From prehistoric marine animals to plant life and of course many other things. The Museum in itself is huge. It has so many exhibits for people to learn about and appreciate. One fun fact about the museum is that most of its animals are real taxidermies and that’s why they seem so life-like. The Museum has many places where you can take great pictures for Instagram or TikTok and it has so much you can learn about. When I went I basically got lost in the museum since it’s so huge. I totally recommend going and seeing all of the things that they have to see. I hope you all check out the places I recommended and have recommended.
