A role model in someone’s eye is another person that they look up to and that inspires them to be or do something great. In this case, my mom is one- if not the best role model a girl can have because she supports me in everything I do and she never judges me when I express myself. She gives me advice from her personal experience to guide me to not make the same mistakes she made at my age. She also shows me right from wrong and keeps it real with me.

A time when it caught my attention that my mom was a role model was when I had issues coping with the loss of my best friend/ex-boyfriend. She found me on the floor crying in my bedroom as I tried explaining to her what happened. She immediately turned her attention towards me and gave me the best advice I’ve ever had.  Not only did she not disregard my feelings. She made me feel better about myself. And helped me through my deepest depression and helped me patiently with guidance. She never threw anything that I wanted to hear but she gave words of aspiration. 

This makes me want to be the best I can do everything she asks of me, and try harder in everything. She motivates me to not give up. For me not to go back and forth with people over little things. To have someone to confide in. Taught me how to be confident and classy. To be kind as a first impression. Focus on what needs to be done. That will be everything I will think of her forever. In conclusion, I believe that she is the best role model a girl can have.
