Suns out, birds chirping, sweat running down your face, summers here! But you got nowhere to go? Well I got news for you, here’s 10 unique places to visit when you’re bored!

  1. Montreal Botanical Garden

Montreal Botanical Garden is located in Quebec, Canada. Filled with the most beautiful statues where you’ll never see anywhere else. Admission is $10 USD for adults and $8 USD for children under 17. Opens at 9AM and closes at 6PM. You can stay as long as you desire but it is recommended to stay a minimum of 2 hours. The views and everything is just amazing.

2. Tunnel of Love

The Tunnel Of Love is located in Kleven, Ukraine. It’s a railway filled with moss and vines and when the sun hits the leaves its as if they glow. It’s free to get in but tours are up to $200 USD. The Tunnel of Love is mostly known for taking walks and viewing all the greenery. It’s open from 10AM to 6PM.

3. Ik Kil

Ik Kil is located in Yucatan, Mexico. Ik Kil is a cenote, basically a caved in a lake. The sunlight shines in through the top of the cave making the water glisten at all times. The plants hanging around makes the view even better. The admission fee is $5 USD, pretty cheap. It’s open from 8AM to 5PM every day. Inside there’s stores, restaurants, and changing rooms.

4. OIA

Oia is located in Santorini, Greece. Oia is a small town with 19th century white washed homes and an amazing view of the sunset. Near there is the Aegean Sea which is so bright and blue, once you’ve laid your eyes on it you wouldn’t want to look away. The price varies from airline to airline, but it is most definitely worth it.

5. Miami Beach Botanical Garden

Miami Beach Botanical Garden is located in Miami, Florida. Miami Beach Botanical Garden is a spectacular garden filled with flowers, butterflies, ponds, fish, and much more! Also guess what, FREE ADMISSION!! It’s open from 9AM to 5PM but once you walk in you wouldn’t ever want to leave. The beautiful sceneries are just mesmerizing.

6. Blue Lagoon

The Blue Lagoon is located in Grindavik, Iceland. The Blue Lagoon is a spa but people mostly visit just to swim in it. The Blue Lagoon has nourishing minerals in the water which is why it became a spa, the water is amazing for skin. Admission is $65, a bit pricey but people say its most definitely worth it. It’s open from 8AM to 9PM. The water is so calm looking.

7. Hanging Lake

Hanging Lake is located in Glenwood, Colorado. Hanging Lake has beautiful waterfalls falling with clear water. Admission is $12 USD. It may look beautiful during the warm weather but when snow falls onto the water and the cold weather causes it to freeze, it looks like a fairytale. It is open at all times but it’s recommended to go during sunrise or sunset.

8. Halong Bay

Ha Long Bay is located in Vietnam. HaLong Bay stunning limestone mountains rising up from emerald waters is what makes it so famous. The only way to visit it is on a boat which gets a little pricey, it’s $130 USD per person for a boat ride in HaLong Bay. It is open from 11AM to 2PM and 5PM to 9PM. The water is an emerald like color which makes you want to never take your eyes off of it.

9. Český Krumlov

Český Krumlov is located in Czech Republic. Český Krumlov is a small town in the South Bohemia region. It’s bisected by the Vltava River, and dominated by its 13th-century castle. The only way to get there is by flight which differs from airline to airline. There are many different places to visit to see lakes, buildings, etc. It most definitely differs uniquely from most towns.

10. Cenote Suytun

Cenote Suytun is located in Yucatan, Mexico. Cenote Suytun is a big lake with no plants, just crystal clear water. There is a stage to take photos, which is what it’s mostly known for.  The admission price of $6 for children and adults. Open from 9AM to 4PM every single day! Its basically in a cave and there is no sunlight inside, only man-made lights to make the water sparkle.
