Dear Nurses, 

I want to thank you for all that you do for patients. Nurses are amazing, so much so, I want to be one! You guys work hard daily and put the same amount of care into each and every one of your patients. You work 36-40 hours per week with only and only about an hour to eat, sleep, and rest. I want to thank you for helping and caring for your patients every day, no matter the circumstances. I’m sure being a nurse comes with a lot of patience, hard work, and commitment.

Every day, you guys monitor patients and make sure everything is okay, provide comfort, and help patients understand anything medical. I appreciate every single one of you guys and the hard work that goes into your job. I admire what you guys do and hope to become an amazing nurse just like every nurse out there! Nursing is actually one of the most trusted professions, which says a lot. I admire your compassion for the job, although the stress rate is at 64%.

I recently had a fall, so I had to go to the hospital to get checked, and my mood wasn’t feeling that best. I had to get my heart rate and weight done. When I sat down, the nurse immediately cheered me up and made me feel comfortable after a hard day. So thank you so much to all the nurses out there. You guys make people’s day better without even knowing it. I am so appreciative of nurses, and I hope this makes people take a second and realize how much hard work, compassion, and care go into being a nurse.
