Ever going out and in need of a perfect gloss that will stay on the whole night? Well, you’ve found your top ten lip glosses! Over the years, I’ve bought many glosses and tried many to come across the perfect one that won’t dry out my lips, give me white stuff, and last a good amount of time. I hope this list can solve your gloss problems and help you decide the best option for you.

Essence – affordable, gives a very glossy look, applicator collects a good amount of product, reviews state it doesn’t last long, and dries their lips out after it wears off. I think Essence is one of my favorite lip glosses; it’s thick but not to a crazy extent, and it makes my lips glossy, but it does not last as long as I would like it to.

Fenty Beauty – hydrating, glossy look, not sticky, makes lips look fuller. Reviewers state it gives a comfortable feeling, makes lips look fuller, but requires reapplication after eating or drinking something. Fenty Beauty provides a good glossy look, has an excellent formula, on the pricey side for lip gloss.

Broadway Vita – very affordable, nice smell, hydrating, good shine, sometimes can leak, tends to start smelling bad. Broadway is definitely in my top 5 because of the hydration and shine, but I agree that it leaks and causes things around it to get sticky. After a while of no use, it starts to get a weird smell on the applicator.

E.l.f – considered good value for its price, offering a wide range of shades that can be worn alone or layered over other products, and is hydrating. E.l.f. is a good lip gloss; the applicator is very nice, picks up a good amount of product, and gives me a good amount of shine.

Nyx – not sticky, smooth texture, affordable, not a heavy formula, hydrating. Nyx is not one of my favorites. I personally like a lot of shine on my lips, and to achieve that with Nyx, I have to reapply a couple of times; it wears off easily, and doesn’t last long.

CoverGirl Yummy gloss – affordable, not sticky, good scents, applicator is nice and picks up a good amount of product, some say it’s sticky and the color is sheer. CoverGirl has an amazing applicator and gets just the right amount of product on there, but I agree it is a sticky gloss and sometimes gives a tingling feeling.

Dior lip oil – not very affordable, gives your lips discoloration after use, provides a shiny, glossy look, easy application, hydration, and smoothing. I think it is very pricey, and it isn’t the best option for $40. e.l.f. is a very similar product. Dior lip oil does offer good hydration and shine.

Nicka K Lip Gel – slightly sticky, affordable, moisturizing, glossy finish, tends to leak. Nicka K Lip Gel is one of my favorite lip glosses. It leaves you with a very glossy look and has good scents. I can agree that sometimes it can be slightly sticky and leave that white cast on your lips if you talk too much, and it also tends to leak.

Summer Fridays – pricey, buttery feeling on lips, good scents, hydrating, clean ingredients. I think Summer Fridays is pricey, I have to reapply it a lot, and in my opinion, it isn’t as hydrating as advertised.

Diamond Gloss Physicians Formula – hydrating, doesn’t feel too sticky or heavy on the lips, leaves you with a shiny look, and has an affordable price. However, some don’t like the sensation. This is my number one lip gloss. It is very shiny and hydrating on the lips, affordable, and lasts a good amount of time. The applicator picks up just the right amount of product; it has zero complaints from me.
